JDSairman 2,000psi regulated 48 cu in HPA system
String 1 shot with JSB 15.8…3,300 psi fill. PW setting was 10/10
for the first 10 shots. I didn’t like the consistancey so I bumped
it up to 12/12 and finished both strings…
String 2 on the same fill…I got 88 full power shots out of this fill.
This is a target sample at 65 yds.

What type of SiOil are you using?
Tim at Mac1 is supplying me some pellet oil so, if it’s Si based, and wont cause seals to swell, I’ll try it out.
I am however only shooting less than 30 yards. Shotcount and consistency was why I bought the JDS system instead of another Talon valve and bottle.
I’m going to add si lube when I discharge the bottle to ensure consistency.
I think you would be impressed if you get a chance to stretch it out
a little….Just make sure if you lube the washers that they
are only coated with lube…
Leaving any substantial amount of liquid in the washer housing
wouldn’t be good in my opinion…One of those things where more
is not better….Needs to be a very thin lube and something that
won’t eat up seals or o-rings….

John says he had some sort of testing station or he had them tested to ensure the regulator put out what it does. It’s a trial and error thing he said. He definitely didn’t purport to have a Talon or Condor to validate the effectiveness of each one he ships. In the meanwhile, I’m going to polish my CO2 adapter and refill the bottle. Its right around 1800 psi.
I took it apart when I got it back and flushed the washers and
housing with silicon spray….Then I did the testing
Sirhc888, watch the elevation on your shots…If your POI
(Point Of Impact) starts hitting high for a few shots then low
then back to high, you probably need to clean the washers..
I is hard to see the POI shift if you are shooting at close range
like 30 yds or less..All you have to do is remove the 2 set
screws on the body of the regulator. The regulator then
seperates in the middle by unscrewing it…You don’t have
to remove the washers and they will not fall out. I used a 3M
silicon spray can with the straw that sticks into the spray
nozzle. Stick the straw in housing and sorta shake the
regulator while you spray to make sure that anything
between the washers gets flushed out..Shake the regulator
upside down to get out the majority of the silicon liquid and
put it back together…Spray some through the back and front
of the co2 adapter too and work the valve in and out to make
sure it is working smooth….

I wouldn’t know if he made it right Walter…It cost me $6.00 to ship
it and as far as I know I got back what I had in the first place.
He didn’t tell me if he fixed it or if it was working correctly or anything else for that matter.
As far as I know he doesn’t have an AF gun to test it on…….
Who knows…I don’t really care at this point. The reg is
working and that’s what counts….
It’s like I said…I am posting this information for those who are
interested in using regulated air so they can make an informed decision….

Savage, Let’s just say that I got the regulator back from him….
As much as I would like to stroke my own ego and spew negativity
about him, I won’t because the regulator and tank are producing
results that I think would benefit all of us and at a price that is
easy on the wallet….To get a regulator and 48 cu in tank for $110.00 shipped
that produces a Standard Deviation of 11fps between shots, on a 32
shot string is pretty great….And to top it off, if you can fill that tank
to 3,000psi you can get approx. 80 full power shots at an FPE in
the range of 27 or 860 FPS with an 18″ barrel… So in
closing, if I had to do it again, I would…..It is worth the BS…
So Mamcrackin I know you had some trouble with JDA, but would you say when all was said and done he made it right or no? Also do you have any .22 Kodiaks to run some strings with?

He told me he just uses “off the shelf” washers and such. Probably wouldn’t hurt to clean ’em up. I’ll keep that in mind if my shots start to drop.

I use 3M Silicon Spray for the regulators, Divers/Plumbers Silicon
for Orings, and pump shafts. Break-Free CLP oil for the hammer,
trigger group, and pellets. I put 4-5 drops of Break-Free in
a zip lock bag. I then smush up the bag to spread the oil around, then
dump a tin of pellets in it and flip the bag around to coat the pellets.
You don’t want to have so much oil that it gets into the skirts..The
only part of the pellet that needs oil is the edges of the head and
skirt.
