Knife,

I was going to mention the clothes pin as i remembered you mentioning it way back but I figured without a picture, 80% reading this might have no idea what I was talking about!

use the flat side of a wodden clothes pin. I figured It wouldn’t screw up the breech if I slipped. 😉

A quarter works great for getting the slugs in easier and I found it gave me better uniform seating than with my thumb.

Hey, somebody has to eat quiche! 😆

Real men push them in with only their thumbs 😡

You gun does not have a lede cut so you will have to do the work of seating the slugs in the rifleing. A little lube will help and so will using a coin or other thumb saver. Try to keep the slug straight while loading and load to the same depth consistently.

jkam,

I’m just new to this big ass slug thing too.
So far I’ve started the Black Mambas in and wiggle them a slight bit as they move in until I can tell that they are going straight. Then I use the ball end of a Pellseat to slide them on in until slightly recessed. Using the Pellseat doesn’t hurt my thumb :thumb:

Mine is a AAA condor in25 with an 18″ barrel.

If your having to push very hard, its cause of your lead in. It more than likely wasn’t cut in for Jerry’s Slugs.

But of course i don’t know anything about your guns setup either. But thats more than likely the issue

Thanks . I was being gentle with them . Now I know 😀

I have a talonss and talonp both are .25 and they fit in my guns. It is a supper tight fit and you have to force them in there. They shoot fine out of my guns.
