Q:

JSB 0.22 16 grain max speed?

What is the max speed you guys have found for JSB 16 grain 0.22 pellets ?

My experience is that anything over about 900fps results in flyers.

Thanks for that. I took your advice and switched to AA 16 grains 5.52 and, for the first time, my pcp is accurate at the High powers setting, 965 fps.

Amazing really that two very similar pellets give such disimilar results. 🙄

My Colibris shoot them into one ragged hole at 40 yds. Going around 925 fps. Haven’t pushed them any faster than that.
If you haven’t already , look into the AirArms 16 grain pellet. They have more delicate skirts than the JSB’s but they generally either shoot as well or better than the JSB’s.
