JUNK MAIL
Is it my imagination or does it seem like every time I join a new air gun website I’m bombarded with CRAP MAIL?
It happened when I joined Yellow and just this evening again when I joined Air Gun Advice. Not thirty minutes later I have four new ridiculous emails in my junk box!

Funny Lama! I should have known better than to give you any ammo… I’ll go back to my cave now.
On another note, it all goes to my junk folder thankfully as well.

I use Hotmail and have been very happy with them catching spam. It works well at depositing spam in my Junk Folder and if it make it to my inbox a simple click ” Junk” gets rid of it.
It also has never let through ONE VIRUS or TROJAN.
If the forum makes your email address available via a web link (without captcha) then spambots will harvest it and start using it. They send you stuff and start trying your address as a “From” to spam others.
I use gmail and google apps for domains for all my email addresses and I rarely see spam… it’s been nearly six years with this strategy and I’m still very happy.
My wife is not on any airgun sites and also gets spam email….Hmmmm ❓

My buddy said, “order Dominos pizza on line and get pizza points towards free pizzas.” I did, and immediate began getting spam…lots of it! That was a big mistake.
