Q:

Just a couple more Crosmans….

Nothing special here, just finished up a couple Crosmans.

First is a 2240 with valve mods and a power adjuster by Art Braden. The grips are carved by me from some blanks from a fellow named Exotic Woody on a Canadian forum. I forget what kind of wood….anyway, here it is.

Next up is a 1322 with a Jim Ayers flow through bolt, Flat top piston, RB Grips, Art Braden shroud and Crosman trigger shoe.

yeah I got a couple of custom 2240’s I’ve built with parts from jim at cb and Roy weir at mountain air customs, they were my first addiction.

Top two pics are crooked barn, other look like crosman breech.

I agree with Adam on the clacking, is that a crooked barn breech?

1322 are nice guns. But I find myself getting lazy and only giving it a few pumps to get it going. Pumping a bunch of times only to miss your target sucks.

Not to mention the noise that goes with them…Clack, clack, clack, clack…etc Bang…Clack, clack, clack, clack etc. Bang

I’ve got a Maxibulk system from when Max was still doing them, but I think I’m going to leave it for a 9mm project. I may bulk the tube on this one, not sure yet.

I prefer the 13xx series over the 22xx just because I dont much care for CO2… but this one has a power adjuster in it. On a warm day, it will reach 640fps with 14.3gr pellets.

I cant touch Ricks grips… he is truly an artisan with his grips. Very nice stuff. I do the redneck version of what he does!

Very nice Rob. 22XX’s are fun aren’t they? Are you planning to bulk the 2240? Maybe a heavier hammer spring? I like those grips. You’ll soon be giving Rick a run for his money! 😀

I bet you have enough $ in that nice 1322 to buy an LD 😀

quote WalkonKing:

Hey Rob,

Who made that riser? Strange you left that out?

HHAHAHAHAAAAA…..Just kidding, hope you get the joke 😛

Those are some great looking guns. You did a pretty good job on those grips, do the grip makers have to worry about you now? 😀

I wasnt sure what the hell was up with that…haha Reckon the guy thinks that RJ charges too much. I thought RJ made the kit and it all went downhill from there…. piss.

Grips…. Those were fun, but I dont want to do another set any time soon… hard to do with hand files and a dremel…haha

Very nice Rob. You must have a gun safe the size of my house. 😀

Thank you, sir…. one day, I need to do a family photo of my Crosmans… They keep changing all the time though. I swap out parts on them quite often so they dont stay in the same configuration long.

Very beautiful guns man.
