SUB, yeah, if you want more consistency and shot count then less power is the way to go.
i get 3 shots but, the first two have no change in POI out to about 75 yards and the third is a MERCY shot but is still hella powerful.
i’ve goofed around with shorter springs (less coils) by taking my aftermarket spring and cutting a couple coils off of it and putting it in the gun and testing for shot count. I had it shooting 320 gr bullets like 625 FPS and it was very consistent and fun but not really what i wanted a big bore to do. But man, you can get em to be very consistent and get like 8 good shots +.
400 FPE is still A LOT OF POWER. I have yet to recover a HP bullet from anything i’ve shot….lol.
5 gallon THICK plastic jug filled with water and layed down lengthwise (1.5’+ long). 160 yrds downrange. HP bullet right through the water filled jug like butter. So yeah, 400 FPE is GOOD……lol
and this is why ive been talking to jack and reba and trying to squirle away money cause what you have is what im wanting order…tho only real diff is that i was thinking of going with 400fpe instead and maybe getting one more good shot outta the fill…so how many shots do you get per fill?? 🙄

Shot some Jack Rabbits with this gun/bullet combo and needless to say….it’s VIOLENT! NO, THEY DON”T SPLIT IN HALF, lol………just LOTS of meat missing…ewwwwwww!!

glad you guys are liking the video. New Slow motion camera in the testing phase. I was not expecting the bottle to split in two at all. I was even shocked when i walked down there and discovered 2 pieces. Even a 1 gallon milk jug at 50 yards is damned near split in two.
They HP bullets that i shoot are from a custom LYMAN mold that i had modified to make the HP wider and deeper. The bullets NOW weigh in at 305+ grains depending on what lead/tin alloy mixture i use and travel at roughly 800 FPS or so. The original weight of the LYMAN mold bullets is supposed to be 330 gr. But after you cast them, they weigh in at roughly 345 grs +- some.
One hell of a display of power….that upper half went into orbit !
