Just got my drozd Blackbird in the other day
Starting to moodify it already, just put the SMG barrel on her and gave her a mod chip also. I am still waiting for my HPA adapter and hose.
I am taking the BB down to the airsoft place to see if I can fin some different accessories! LOL
I almost have a Knight Arms CQB RIS that fits PERFECTLY on the stock barrel, but the barrel is too short to attach safely to the gun and carry the ris…if the barrel were only 4″ longer! I am thinking of going with a Steyr AUG configuration, since it has the perfect 45 degree cut in it that should line up clean on the Blackbird.
IDK YET!!!

I have been considering that combination, I will be eager to hear how that works out.
One questions I have is with the HPA can you attach the tank directly to the gun, or do you have to have a hose and a tank and carry it in a backpack arrangement. And what PSI can you operate it at?
I had planned on buying it made up at the drozd site.
I had one of the early Bumble bee yellow and black guns, it worked after a fashion, but slowed down so much because of the CO2 cooling effect. And it went thru that 30 round magazine so damn fast. The battery end cap spring would loose tension and the battery pack would not work, so I had to put a tinfoil spacer in.
Even with the low power, I killed a Nutria with a side brain shot, tried that on a Possum, he would have laughed at me if possums could laugh, I had to finish him off with a rock!
Anyway with HPA and a long barrel, and true full auto, it should be in a much high class power wise, not to mention that 800 round magazine.

I am hoping to hit 900FPS full auto. I would contact JimC, that man is a cool cat and really loves airguns. I talked to him for an hour yesterday before he even asked me what I wanted to buy! Just a class act all around.
