Q:

Just got my new Cricket! I have a question!

Man this gun is nicer that I even thought it would be, Mounted my scope and took it out and shot it about 60 shots, it had air in it when it arrived but the probe was missing, why does this shit happen LOL! Not really complaining got it from Steve and Top Gun and Boris is just a great guy to deal with, all of them are, I will do buisness with them any time! Anyway figured out the lever I was worried about for indexing the mag pretty easy actually, Now my quesion is I ran my shots over the chrony and averaged around 895fps this is with JSB 18.1gr which is good but when I get my probe and fill it up I would like to try and take it down to around 885 or so. Is the small plug at the rear of the receiver with the two small holes in it the hammer spring adjuster? or is it inside that plug? Papers that come with this gun are pretty much useless! but again not complaining this gun is and excellent shooter 40 yards all my targets were under dime size!! This is a keeper for sure!

I just got my standard bulldog syn today, it was running 930fps with 18.1g, got about 40s shots from 200b. 2t CCW on the spring and it’s shooting 900fps for 4 mags, the last 4 was around 875fps.
The mag index was sweet… not sure why some pepole complains about it… must be op error. And the trigger… WOW!.

If you have more shots from one cylinder try to set the gun 880fps. Accuracy will not suffer and you get 5 mags from 200-105bar 😉

First stage is Easy to make harder. Just move the clip on the trigger piston so the spring pushes harder!

Do not smoke it!

Thanks Exbang not having a probe to fill is killing me, I have the time to shoot this weekend and all i can do is look at it 😯 Have you been into the trigger? this one is set pretty light but I like them that way, but it doesn’t have much if any first stage? I hate to mess with it becasue it is a nice trigger they way it is! I am not going to get into that right now I just want some target time with it. I am putting this right up along with my Edgun for accuracy, it loves the 18gr jsb’s and I was hoping it would.
Haven’t tried the 16gr but I usually always shoot the 18gr. I am very happy with this purchase, put if off for a while thinking something new would come out, but not at all dissapointed in my Cricket.Quality is also up to the Edgun, I love the bullpups light short and do all the longer guns do and then some! I am in for a fun summer :8:

I know I have heard this happening several times when I read post on the cricket, seems like a simple thing to have happen, but without it I am dead in the water now, I have a really nice air gun sitting in front of me and no way to fill it! I have heard of temptation and my lathe is out in the shop, I could make one! Well this game of waiting we all been there, we should get something for this waiting game, I think it is called lets have another drink :3:

And yes Bori is just a pleasure to talk to, he answers the phone by saying your name after the first call, he and his crew are great people to buy from for sure!

Mine did too but they have to prep the gun by changing the spring (to make it FAC – high power allowed in US) and use the probe. 🙁 He should overnight it when he does that or at least two day.

How can he forget the probe? It is in the box in a plastic bag with other parts (extra O-rings, hex screw, etc.). At least this is the way my gun came.

Bori is a nice guy but he does forget the probes occasionally. 🙁

Accuracy is definetly not a problem out of this gun, all I see is one hole down range, shooting at 40 yards for the first outing and sighting in. Like I posted no fill probe 🙁 so only had air that came with it to shoot, so decided to shoot groups and not worry to much about sighting it in. It shot high but not alot. I shot about 12 groups of 5 shots and all the groups were just amazing, all just as good as my Edgun shoots, so far I could not ask for a nicer gun! magazine works great and a very nice design and the pellet of choice good old JSB 18gr so all is well at my place! :4:

Mine is at 903 FPS and deadly accurate. 895 is already very near perfect. If it shoots very well I would not change it.

Correction on my typing error 895 not 995 yep that would be a bit HOT!!

995 fps with JSB 18 !!!! 😯

Man, – that’s about 40 ft/lbs ……..!!!

You have got one hot gun for sure…….. 😉

Yes, the thing at the back is the adjuster. You can turn it in or out, – but don’t expect miracles………..

Cheers
Trygve 😀
