yup that must be the pits for sure, what’s going to be worse if it shows up and there IS something not right then look out. So hopefully you will end up with a good one. Mine should arrive at AoA for a shroud replacement so we will see how long it take them to fix it. I’m in no rush as I will be swamped with other stuff for a couple of weeks so its good timing if anything
These aren’t EdGuns so if the gun isn’t damaged while in transit then no worries. Should there be any though there are parts to be found in an acceptable period of time.

I live just a half-hour away from Airguns of Arizona. I guess I’m pretty lucky to live close by them. If I were to get another Cricket I’d go buy it in person from them. That way I can inspect the gun entirely myself and shoot it there just to make sure that everything is spot on before I lay the cash. Every time I stop by to purchase some pellets, though, and look at all the pretty rifles there I just can’t help myself from thinking that my Cricket is still the best shooting air rifle among all the other brand models they have sitting pretty. Honestly though, that Feinwerkbau P800 they have on their shelf always gets my attention. 😀 Oh and one more thing, if they tell you they’re all out of JSB 16 and 18 grain pellets it’s because I bought ’em all some time ago. And I’m going back there to buy another three to four dozens of them again when they arrive next month! :biggrinn:

so maybe that’s why I didn’t break the bank.

Well actually I was informed today that my wood stock did have two minor dings in it either from the factory or from shipping so I decided to let them hold it one more day so they can have their stock guy repair the little blemishes.
Oh and btw is it just a figment of my imagination or did the crickets used to have walnut stocks not “wood” as AOA and WWAG now advertise? I could a swore that when I slapped down the dough that the advertisment said walnut standard….. hmm I smell treachery afoot :?. I just hope I got walnut.

Well AOA took no less than a full fucking week to “test” my .25 cricket so I am hoping that thing will be problem free :evil:. Damn….. I ordered on a Wednesday when it was in stock and it is finally shipping out the next week on a Friday :evil:. I really hate this waiting game, don’t know how you Edgun boys manage…..

Bastards only take CC. They told me they just got a large shipment of Crickets and BCs in and ALL of the BC are sold! ALL of the BC will only come from FX if you want it regulated, they said in so many words that they were fucking them up doing it themselves……..
