Hey guys, got my chrony back today, went out and shot the condor today at 60 yards. We have a norther eastern front coming in so I had random 20mph gusts. With good timing the condor shot beautifully. Average fps 860 with 15.9 JSBs. I’m currently got her on the bench doing a 3600 psi -2200psi string/ shot count.

Here’s her 60 yards 5 shot group

On the chrony now

I’ll post up a full fill to regulator shot string tonight.

Really liking this combination to far, Tony did a great barrel prep for seamless install.

Thanks Salticon. Please keep posting your results. My curiosity comes from the fact that I own an FX ST gun, as well as AF with their standard barrels, LW if I’m not mistaken, as well as Weihrauchs. I had the feeling when comparing that the ST barrel was the least pellet-fuzzy one for my use (out to 55 yds), but this might just be my guns for the distance and power. That’s why I’m looking for some other feedback.
Generally interested to see how barrel design impacts on ballistics, so many choices and parameters out there, rifled, polygon, ST, different twist rates…
Anyway, thanks again for your posts, really like to read them.
Cheers

Yes barrel installed, clover leafs at 50 yards, more less trying to get pellets through it to season it, my chrony is loaned out. 15.9 JSB seems to be the pellet right now. I running Tony’s tophat without inserts, the pellet is getting 2200 psi burps from the regulator. Getting about 50 regulated shots on a 3500 psi fill. I’d guess I’m around 850 fps with the 16gr. Wheel on 4, I’ll turn the wheel up some more and try 18gr next. Looking for that 25m hole in hole action. The condor is defiantly lighter, the ST barrel is a lot lighter and the CF bottle helped too.. The barrel has potential just need to play with settings to find it.

Nice! You should get a ton of shots out of the regged cf tank. I need to get me another valve so i can roll a regged set up, one for mid power and one cf tank set up for cannon fire. Jds reg setups are very nice.

Giving the ST barrel a good cleaning, wasn’t to bad

Installed 4.5k reg and TTCF bottle, passed 3700psi fill leak test.

These TT gauges are dead accurate. I’ll install barrel tomorrow, range Saturday.
