KAHLES K 312 II FOR EDGTUN

KAHLES K 312 II FOR MY BROTHER HEMM.
FFP + Mildot (MIL 2).

I saw this scope in a show this week.
It’s the good compromise.
The neatness of the reticule FFP is incredible.
the same level of the Schmidt & Bender . http://www.schmidtundbender.de/en/products/sport/12-50×56-field-target.html

Oh heck no. 😆 I would rather have lot of different kinds of PCPs (more toys) than a few extreme ones. 🙂 Also, the law of diminishing returns kicks in on most of this stuff and more and more dollars gains very little in functionality (a $250 scope mount over a $50 one 🙄 ). A diablo pellet will only shoot so well and tends to be the weakest link the chain on these airguns. If you are in for serious competition that is one thing – but for general pesting and plinking which most folks do things can get out of perspective in a hurry. But to each his own and if you have the money to burn I say have at it. :biggrinn:

Why Coda? Did you spend $10,000 for your Cricket?

I had a Kahles K624i for a while. Great scope but I ended up selling it to pick up yet another S&B 5-25 to match my others, I prefer the S&B H2CMR reticle to the Kahles Mil4 reticle that I had. I wouldn’t put the K624i on an air rifle simply because of the 50M minimum parallax really becomes a hindrance for the close shots when you need to take them.

The K312 on the other hand has 30M parallax– also not ideal for an air rifle IMO but much better than 50M minimum. Dialed down at around 3-4x I bet it will be very usable inside of 30M; it should have a good clear picture and only a minimum of parallax error.

I currently run a Schmidt & Bender 3-20 H2CMR on my Edgun and love it. Obviously great glass and the I really like the wide magnification range. I wish it had 10M parallax capability like its larger 5-25 x 56 brother though. The 3-20 has 25M parallax capability and it’s still nice and clear with only minimum parallax error inside of 25Y with the magnification down around 3-5x. Got a squirrel inside the horse paddocks at 7Y this weekend with the scope down around 4.5x and didn’t have any problem with focus or parallax.

Also, I just noticed Kahles appears to have a competitor to the S&B Field target…

10-50x, 8Y minimum parallax, optional large parallax wheel for ranging. I don’t care much for the reticles as they pretty much limit you to dialing both wind and elevation for *every* shot, but for the intended purpose of the scope I suppose they would be OK.

Good Matador r3m… wow! very nice scope and hakan mount as well 🙂

thanks ,,,, find a good scope with a lower price ,,,this one i have to sell my Edgun to buy it,,,

I got to look through that S&B FT scope about a month ago for $3500 US. :8: I suggested a group buy but had no takers. 🙁
