As far as looks….”form follows function”.
I doesn’t look too bad:

I guess calibers may be adjustable …. ???? π
Cheers π
(I know, the Lanza influence is not good for me…. π³ )
It isn’t cheap by any means, at $1400 USD. 23.4″ long is good. I wonder how long that barrel is? Just in…barrel is 15″ long!!!
I’m curious what calibers it comes in, and what the potential FPE would be. Update: comes in 5.5mm/.22 caliber. Fills to 300 BAR.
As far as looks….”form follows function” (Mies Van Der Rohe) Killing isn’t always pretty.
Anyway…if Ed isn’t going to allow any Lelya’s here, this will be the only game in town. You have to buy whatever is available that meets your needs.

PS: Ed…it wouldn’t kill you to send a few Lelya’s our way!!!! You are already richer than God. Give us a break.
Like or dislike, – I’m not willing to judge before I’ve had the chance to test it…..
Specs sound interesting:

“170 cubic meters” is obviously wrong, – has to be 170 cubic centimetres, but a 14 shot mag sounds good.
Total length makes it “legal” in the UK, – doesn’t it ??
Power levels not yet known or has anybody any information ???
Availability probably late next year………. π₯

Not my cuppa tea, but does have a certain utilitarian appeal to it. Reminds me of a 37mm tear gas launcher.
Second glance:
What i don’t like
– the safety button, looks 30years old, something from an old stereo(fm/am selector)
– the trigger, too thin, almost a blade.
– those philips screw that hold the bolt/lever plate in place. Either replace with countersunk allen bolts or better, hide them completely somehow.
The rest of the rifle is lovely. The stock is great, especially in wood, and finally nowere to see those 3 holes at the front of the stock, that everyone keeps copying from the matador, (i don’t know why as it is the worst feature of the rifle, imho.)
Guys, the first time i saw the matador i almost threw up.
I suppose if i half like the humming bird at first glance, it is my next rifle!
I’m not british, so im not kidding, i really like it!
Ps
Weight 1.9kg “with box”
Bingo.
I saw also a aluminium blue version.
Looks wiked.
Not sure how well the magazine rotates with all those scratches, however we have learned that ridged and scratched moving parts “look” horrible, but perform well (in some selected cases!)

ya arse munch … dont think the brit humour will be understood here yoda π π

From the video it seems to be much lighter than the matador, perhaps a bit nose heavy, don’t know.
I like the stock a lot, and the overall design.

I love it.
I saw also a aluminium blue version.
Looks wicked.

i concede the forward bolt would be a plus point, my Favoured hunting piece of all time is the FX Verminator (matador is a close second) which is also short in the looks department , but for me its very much a case of beauty is what beauty does ! so maybe the humming bird will have that quality
I admit it is not much to look at. However, I do like the flush mount 14 round magazine and the forward bolt. Looks like it would be more ergonomic to shoot.
– and a short video on YouTube:

that is one fugly weapon, i cant say i find one aspect of it appealing !
