Kalibrgun HST adjuster
Hi Guys.
I own a Kalibrgun Cricket .25 and I am looking to get a aftermarket HST adjuster (to replace the plastic stock one) for easier tuning.
I have seen quite a few avalible and there is one thing I dont understand… Most of the HST adjusters have two parts- An outer (usally black) piece that screws into the port in the gun (also the piece that the Hammer spring sits on)
Then there is a (usally bronze) screw that screws into the first black piece.
If the spring sits on the black piece and you can adjust the tention via it then what is the purpose of the bronze screw as it does not touch the hammer spirng? Does it adjust the HST as well?
Am I missing something? 😯

This is it. See it has two parts
Not certain but it sound like a locking screw to prevent loosing once set.
Unsure what HST your talking about do you have a picture of it or a link ?

But I dont have a problem finding a seller of the adjusters online. I am actually looking for an explanation of what the bronze screw does- because the outer part of the HST adjustet is what the spring sits on.

You can contact AoA to inquire if they still have the Imppu HST V3+ for sale there.
It comes with a degasser so you don’t need to bleed out through the AT anymore.

Mine have Earnest’s HSA. It’s one piece and simple. When you order his, he will send you the the springs to go with it.
contact “Imppu” he sells them, I got one and it works well. They are all black though. Do a search, I think there are pics on here as well.

The black portion of the HST is the body that treads all the way into the receiver and left there.
The bronze screw has a e-clip on it and this is where the spring sits on.
As you turn the bronze screw it pushes on the hammer spring to compress it inwards.

Also that is an older model the new one has a lock nut and a degasser.
The lock nut prevents the screw from backing out from the vibration of the hammer spring when fired.
