KalibrGun Ocelot
Just taken delivery of a Ocelot put it through the Chrono to ensure UK legal 7.5J then did i 5 shot 6 yard test, I am not a experienced pistol shooter but i was more than impressed with my groupings with the open sights, I have a Ranchero which impressed me over my previous pistol a HP1 – Webley Alecto, this only lasted three shots in my yard due to excessive noise, the Ocelot is .22 but Barrel changes are a doddle once you machine to fit the block, the noise is a very friendly back yard – fabulous finish and at 7.5J great shot count, i understand from the exporter the Pistol can be configured from factory to exceed 20J, getting back to the Groupings i put all 5 shots within a 14mm circle personal best for me,

Thought of buying one last Spring. Then i realized i have no time for the Vulcan so what the hell would i buy an Ocelot for and so i dumbed the idea.
Its a damn good looking pistol though :4:
pistols over 7.5J are not permissible in the UK they are section 5 weapons, only licensed to certain Police officers and the armed force’s etc,
That’s a bummer on the restriction w/o a firearm license I guess. I wonder what the max energy is they are getting out of a Ocelot?
with a rifle stock and a bipod no doubt the ocelot will out perform its pistol configuration, 7.5j is the maximum permissible here in the UK :smilen: :smilen:
This guy is Cliff and he uses the Marauder pistol like I do but on ground squirrels. Lots of videos on here. Some of his shots are pretty far. 60+ yards.

50 yards with a bullpup let alone with a pistol at 12 lbs on tough greys is a achievement, i would shoot a pistol freehand at short range max 10 yards at 7.5j at static targets and be happy with 25mm groupings, I dont think the Ocelot will be a long runnig line and more of a statement of what kalbrGun can produce, its a future collective classic

I have a .22 Marauder pistol with a TKO moderator at 12-13 FPE and it is dead silent and no ping and very accurate with the light FTS H&N pellets. It is good on squirrels to about 50 yards but I would prefer 17-18 fpe (25 J). I always use a scope. Do you think it would fit the bill? I can always add a moderator.
pushing that much air down a short Barrel it will not compare against a carbine or a standard rifle , if you get a opportunity to try one you will be impressed :smilen:
I thought they said it was obnoxiously loud? Maybe just at full power???
