New info from Rada/TGAG

Colibri-update
December 16 2013 at 4:37 PM Rada (Login Radoslav)

I have been authorized by TGAG to post some updates. At least clarification to some of the hypothesis on this forum.
Is it quiet; yes, certainly backyard friendly and I would guess apartment as well.
It cant be powerful; If I remember it is around 25 foot pounds. I was going to chronograph it again but I have a dead battery.
Pellet; this one likes the JSB Exact RS.
Accuracy; I have a 12power AEON scope on it and I shot a .172 center to center group at 25 yards. The group was shooting the whole magazine of 13 pellets. Cant do it all the time but I can shoot ragged holes all the time. One day I will try a larger magnification but this scope looks so good on it I will not change for a while.
Fill is different from the other Kricket bullpups. All it is a opening in front of the trigger guard. Same probe as the rest of the line.
Safety for those that have to have one, is above the trigger on the frame, toggle design.
On the utube video some mentioned the shooter has to keep a thumb on the bolt. Not so, the gentlemen in the video just knows his combat. He used the fastest technique to show how fast it can shoot.
When is it going to be available? I seen May to be a manufacturing date. So I would say June at TGAG door. BUT, we seem to think the final design will be a bit different. A true semi automatic. Just a speculation. Just keep in mind all the data will be different.
Oh, the main question; NO it is NOT for sale.

Thanks
Rada

Colibri is cute. I love it. But I can see from the video that the guy have to hold the bolt to prevent it recoil. It does not has a bolt lock.

It is just the way he holds that baby to shoot.. there is no need for a bolt lock as you can see in this view:

Hope you are right. but I watch this video and it has one or two shots seem like recoil

this video shows a little bit recoil.

So is that a thin pressure line going to that aluminium pot or do we have a battery gun here?

How much does it cost? $2k?

someone mentioned something like 14,000 Rubles.. for these early production models. market release might be 2014 as they are setting up production in Prague. It is a complex machinery inside the receiver:

So 14,000 Rubles is about $426???

these were early production pieces. I saw things marked to serial number 19. the guy must have confused 14,000 with 40,000 Rubles..

I have no idea on prices for world market release in 2014. Could be like the other Cricket out there… my guesstimate is US $1400… reasonable for the very complex cnc that goes with it.

Those are old videos. Hopefully fixed on later revisions… It moves inconsistently.

KalibrGun told me March 2014 on the Colibri and the 9mm Cricket but that was 6 months ago. 😯

Kalibrgun is listed as a vender for the Shot Show in Vegas this January. Another six months in my opinion.

They don’t have the FX branding so I think not…

I would bet they will be in the 14-1600 $ range.

They are nice

Like said i don´t know the cost yet. I´d say somewhere between a .22 Cricket std and .25 WST. It has the right bolt placement regardless – that´s what i got hooked on.
