Q:

Kudos to WalkonKing for WokButt!

I know everyone already has one and I don’t want to beat a dead horse….but I’m new here.

I got my WokButt a few days ago and just got to try it out today. This is a great product that is innovative and well crafted! It makes such a difference when shouldering the rifle.

Thanks, Adam….I will post something on the BOI soon as I do not have an account there yet.

But what is up with that cheap plastic piece that the butt plate attaches to 😯 ? I was horrified to see that…and mine is cracked in three places!!

Has any one had any issues….say…with the butt plate snapping off??

The WoK Butt rules. It would be cool if AF adfapted his idea for their production guns and rewarded him financially, accordingly. Adam sent me one as a gift, which I immensely appreciate. It just adds so much to the stability of our AF rifles. GBY Adam.

Adams Bud,

DH

Finally today I got around to doing a lot of shooting with the WB installed. Once I got the angle and distance set, I liked what started to happen. My eye hit the center of the scope immediately every time I shouldered the gun. No more micro-adjustments of the sight picture necessary, just point and shoot.

I had a hard time even getting a “flyer”. I was getting used to them too.

I can not believe you people touch WOK’s butt gross. He does not wipe. 😆 😆

Thanks for the clarification…I knew wok wouldnt send out any crap… :11

Machine,

The problem is airforce in their wisdom uses a plactic disce with a T Nut press into it. It is then place between the bottle cover and the butt of the tank. Over time this disc will crack. It is actually what lead be to develop the original strap version of the wokbutt.

The remedy is to fix the disc or replace it.

Yes…this is exactly what I am talking about…no complaints about the WokButt itself (nice addition) but the AirForce design for the butt plate attachment needs some improvement. It seems that Airforce already knows this and that’s why they sell the ‘crapccsessory’ rail…for the sole purpose of stabilizing the but plate mount! I mean, WTF are you gonna mount on that anyway….a flashlight? a laser? 😆

he’s talking about the plastic disk that airforce puts at the rear of the tank with the thread insert, to secure the butplate to. A common AF problem, but nothing to do with the WokButt.

Thanks Banomad for the shout out! So glad you like it 😀

That disc is a piece of CRAP.

There are a couple of remedies to fix that disc. You can find a metal disc and drill and tap a hole and replace the plastic .

Or you can find a suitable material to epoxy to the broken disc. You can use hardboard, lexan etc. and epoxy the hell out of it and sandwhich that disc together.
