Q:

Large bottle options?

Are there any larger bottles available out there say 800cc that I can install a Condor valve on?

there are 800cc luxfer bottles that are a direct fit
i also have a 2 liter 200 bar bottle wich is a direct fit 😕 but i think that is a bit to much 😯

I am after this neat set up of the 800cc tank on the left. What exactly was done ❓ Is that a CO2 adapter?

I e-mailed the guy that posted this on the yellow as to how he did it and where to get these tanks but never got a reply back.

Ah, I found a picture I posted in the mods section a while back. The AF bottle OD smaller and the length a bit longer than the 53ci bottle as you can tell from the picture below.

I’m using the 53 cui bottle, same shape as the AF one, a tad shorter but fatter. Works perfectly as a replacement bottle for the rifle (AF one is 38cui)
Of course, the threads are different but mine is attached via one of MM’s Etac-Regs. The LOP is the same, well maybe about half inch longer, than the standard set up.

AASkif,

I’d be happy to make an E-TaCHPA for the 5/8-18UNF bottle. 😀 😀

I sure do want that big old bottle like I believe you have, that is a sweet looking Condor for sure.

thanks guys,

really good info. I wonder when Airforce will catch up to this? A Condor with a large tank like this is the logical step forward.

I purchased 4 44 ci bottles from catalina in 5/8-18 and had them rethreaded to 18 x 1.5. They offer there tanks in 3/4-16 which is real close to 18mm. The tanks I have are 3.58 x 8.38. With the Etac-Reg it is the same as the stock tank. They also have a tank that measures 3.20 x 11.17 and is 53 ci. It is 5/8-18 also. You can’t order from catalina direct, but they hooked me up with a dealer that got good pricing and drop shipped right to my door. Here is the person I was dealing with jbloxom@catalinacylinders.com. Here name is Jen and here is here # also 757-896-9100 ext 4308.

AASkif,

Most of the larger bottles are either 5/8-18 UNF or 3/4-16UNF. I know of a guy who wanted a larger bottle just like you with the M18 threads. He called Catalina and was denied. Doubt the “big guys” would entertain it as the customer base is limited.

I am running the 53ci tank as well using the drooped MM ETAC and a WOK butt on my TD2000 bolt launcher using a 9mm Blod Knob big bore valve
wouldn’t go any larger if you wish to maintain a modicum level of shouldering comfort

I am using the 53ci which = 868cc on my Condor. you will need an adapter for this, you can put a gauge and quick fill on the adapter to allow you to fill the gun without remove the bottle.

thanks Adam, I will ask MM on this. I thought he had something like build…

do you think Luxfer can custom build tanks like that if we order some from them? I am sure lot’s of guys on here would want one. As I understand we need a tank with M18X1.5mm threads, then it is straight feed.

Just think about it. This can shut that overpriced Evanix Monster for good.

I do not think so. I think to get a bigger bottle on you need to have an adapter made because the threading is different.

Maybe the Marmot militia has an answer or an adapter
