Q:

Larger tank for more shots?

It’s been a while since I’ve been on these forums. I just pulled out the .25 Condor and shot it a bit.

Has anyone come up with a bottle that is larger than a stock condor bottle? I tried a PB tank (68ci/4500) and there’s no way to “cheek” it. I can’t get my eye to the scope.

What have you guys done?

cool – I remember seeing your airgun in the PC game Metro 2033, I think.

This fits.
You have 65 shots with 2 inches of groups at 55 yards.

I have “high” mounts now. I’m not sure if they make any taller one … lol

Have you considered trying higher scope mounts? Sometimes just a portion of an inch makes all the difference.

I already have an ETaC and installed it on a 68/45 but the tank is just too big to see through the scope….

So a smaller tank does work?

Don’t forget those extra shots come at a hefty weight penalty. With a larger tank, I found that the center of balance on the Talon SS shifted back onto the tank itself. Very awkward and I eventually sold it.

You have to use a Etac to use a larger tank. You can use a 48 ci or 62 ci and they work fine. You have to rethread the tanks to 18×1.5mm though. Not that hard if you have a lathe or mill.
