Q:

Laser Range Finder

I am looking at buying a laser ranger finder. I liked the review of this one:

Leupold Mark RX-1000 TBR Compact Rangefinder

What are your thoughts??

Thanks for the input guys.

Go for the Leica lrf 900 or the Leica Pinmaster.

Works very good, also good optics ( for daytime).

Because it’s a box you can use it also as a shooting rest.

Buy a Cabela neoprane camo cover for it.

The great thing about rangefinders for airgun purposes is that rangefinders with the lowest range specs are still plenty. Even the 400 yard models are sufficient. Rangefinders are SO cool.

I have the RX-III and like it a lot. Looking at the specs they seem pretty close. So I’d say go for it. 🙂

I don’t know if there is a size difference, but I will say the RXIII is supposed to range out a bit farther (most won’t go as far as they say, but the farther it is supposed to go the better) So if there isn’t a size difference I would probably go for the RXIII or RXIV just because they go farther for about the same $$.
