I tried for a long time to get a Quackenbush rifle but no luck. Each time seems like the people was waiting and hit the buy key .
I see these same Quackenbush guns advertised on Auction Arms for almost Double the price they are buying them from Denis.
So that’s why I bought the Corsair, I am not at all dissatisfied as a matter of fact I’m really glad I got the Corsair.
I think if the Guns are selling for $1200 or more on Auction Arms, Denis should raise his Price to $1200 to give every one an even chance for the guns, they will still sell, Ive never seen one yet that didn’t.
The Marauder Pistol right now is on airguns.net site for $595 i think thats the right amount, unopened and in the box. Well I recon that’s American business,. PA will let you have one under $400 when they are available, so don’t be taken by Gold diggers, wait an extra month and buy it with a PA warranty, and return policy.
I’m sure in the future someone here will come up with a super mod, and the Marauder will make you all happy, right now I’m keeping mine stock for it dopes all I expect it to do. And mine is quiet, I saw somewhere on here that the noise was an issue? Could be too much oil on the pellets, cut back on the lube and just use a small amount. 😀

I’d like to see it. Can you post a link?
I have all the kits for my Condor and Talon but I don’t use them I have them for a conversation item, and it is really a discussion getter.
I was at a local gun shop the other day talking about air guns and they was really interested till I told them what it cost to set up a tank and an air compressor and buy the gun, and they didn’t think a market around here was favorable. Too high in price even though the 22 caliber Bulk ammo for a rifle has tripled.
I must say I do have a fortune in My things but I also have a fortune in Powder burners.
I’m a gun freak 😀
I love my Pellet guns, I shoot them a lot., Pyramid Air can vouch for that, I got a camping cooler full of Pellets and they don’t stay there long lol 😀

That’s the one I looked at I get right at 21 FPDS on my Pistol with 21 grain diablos. Thats all the Disco rifle shows on the chart then to get the 90+ shots per fill you loose a lot of Energy.
Uh hunting here in West Virginia on our own land of course, the Limit during season is 6 squirrels a day, So 2 clips in the Pistol would be OK that’s 16 shots.
But now if you’re into Bird controle you’ll need the Disco Tank with the 2000 pound regulator to make a good day of it.
I have the disco tank, and at 3000 plus pre pump the Pistol, would keep the birds and rats at bay for a while.
From what Ive seen “correct me if I’m wrong”” The EdGun is the only gun in a Compaq that will give a lot of shots from one fill. That’s what Ive herd, but it is too much for my blood to put into one gun I bought all 4 Marauders cheaper than that, and if I need to sell a gun I don’t have to loose all my shooting fun selling the only one I have. 😀 😀 But for you rich folks, go for ED lolol.
Thanks VTR.
I am wating for someone come-up with regulator for that pistol, then I will get 1 for myself.
Regulator has been available for about 4 months or more.

True… I have a target pistol (46M) so the MROD-P would fit as a hunting / pest pistol without the weight and bulk of the Talon SS.
I’ll keep an eye on everyone’s “field reviews” and see if its something I want to jump into. Noise is of primary concern assuming accuracy is there.
So the MROD pistol is only zeroed for about 10 shots before it shifts and the noise levels are a touch high for the very shooting I need it for.
I think my SS with LDC and rock solid 40 shots before POI is the ticket.
I have 20 air guns and not one of them shoots the same with different fills. All Of them has a sweet spot they like.
Not one of my 4 air force rifles, shoots right on 3000 fill not one.
But they all shoot hard and straight on 2000 to 2300. So although they are 3000PSI rifles they don’t shoot like anyone here would want them too on 3000, I have bought 2 off of here and 2 off of PA plus the 25 barrel and shrouds from Tony, One is a talon Tuned 25.
They all like low power settings, and 2000 to 2300 psi and Although I don’t count the shots the AF rifles seem to shoot a lot at that setting.
So some guns get 200 shots per fill but you are not getting any Good Feet per second shots out of them I done saw the specks. I looked on AG of AZ’s site and saw the valves that super tune the Marauder Pistol, but the Fps drops when you do the entire tune.
Since 45 yards is the Most common shot for “any” air rifle, unless you are shooting birds, then the Maraud Pistol does all that it is advertised to do, and that’s why I bought mine.
I looked at the Feet per second and Foot pounds of Energy, and it all figured into the equation Crosman said it would do. So if you order it thinking it will do more;;It wont;;. So it is best to look elsewhere for a higher Foot pounds of energy.
Crosman never advertised it for any more.
I got what I paid for. 😀 And it isn’t for sale.LOLOL
It’s easy to pump up with a hand pump. Also you can use the Benjamin tank cause the gun shoots the best on 2000 and the Benji Tank is regulated for that. If you Hunt with a shotgun you can hunt with a MP. They both kill just as far. 😀

Did you carve that stock yourself? Pretty nice. Is it remotely possible it cost more than the rest of the gun? Where did you find the custom shroud?
Very nice.
Hoot 😯
And that’s why I like this forum. No BS.

Anything within 30 yds is dead with my Mac1 LD with a precise shot in the ear. I get about 200 shots out of it with dead nuts accuracy and silence.
I like that MROD pistol but it does not seem to be quiet enough for suburban use and if You add a longer silencer you might as well shoot a Talon SS.
I chrono’d the 21 grain diablo exacts and mine hit the high 600’ds. That’s out of the box. So far I’ve saw about 4 out of the first 75 for sale, and it was because””if they told the truth”” They bought 2 one for a friend who didn’t have the money to pick it up, and the others tried to make money off of them.
As far as Foot Pounds of Energy they do exactly as advertised, at least mine does.
It’s not for sale and my collection is complete 😀
The gun is a Squirrel gun and rabbit gun at 25 yards with any pellet used.
The group is close enought to make a critical shot. I never use an Airgun over 45 yards anyway, and if i was really desperate i could Zero it for that distance for a rabbit at that distance with the 21 grain diablo’s.
Now the test pellets they sent just didn’t impress me at all. But the Diablos and the 28 grain EJ’s was a good shot. EJ’s shooting low on 20 but they are heavier so it is to be expected.
However It’s all to their own, I have #26 and don’t need another this one will be here till my estate is dissolved LOLOL. In other word from my cold dead hands 😀
I sold mine. I think I was the 2nd or 3rd to do so. I had #003. I didn’t have a “friend”, didn’t buy 2 and didn’t make a dime. I’m just an airgun snob. Trying to get a decent shot count out of it while trying to maintain decent accuracy (POI) over a 20 – 30 range for target shooting purposes was driving me nuts and reminding me of my disco and my Af products on HPA. Shot fine, power was fine, accuracy was fine …. for 8 – 10 shots before a POI shift. I liked it but it didn’t fill the niche in my collection I was hoping it would.
Basically I was hoping the MP would replace this 22xx as a carbine but 3 days of testing (yeah extensive right) just didn’t prove it out, so yes – I sold it.

So it sounds like an MROD pistol with scope and SCUBA tank is a solid 30 yard tree rat gun… Good to know.
That pistol would be perfect for anything under 30 yard. But it’s kind big pistol compare to other maker.
