Q:

LDC for Daystate Airwolf .22

I’m looking for any and all info regarding the purchase of an ldc for an Airwolf .22. I’m just looking for something which screws on the end and is very effective. Length is not an issue as it will be used only for backyard target shooting. Please do not send me any info about products from “NC”. He was very disrespectful in the past and I would rather not give him any of my business. Please pm me any responses.

Thanks,

Keith.

There is nothing to get drawn into. I was looking for a favor from my fellow airgun brethren and YOU took offense to it. I did not ask you for anything nor did I demand anything of you. However the emails shown do not say it all. But I will leave it at that. One subject has nothing to do with the other. I was disrespected by you but that’s ok. What’s done is done. I have told you how I feel and that is all I can do.

Have a great day.

Keith I am not going to get drawn into anything with you. The e-mails shown say it all. If you are one of those who sent me countless questions one after the other that is why I tried to post on the Yellow forum. To ask potential customers to have some consideration for custom builders and think before you e-mail them. They are busy and can not answer 10 e-mails from every customer, my post requesting that customers give makers a little consideration also got deleted, one of the reasons I am not there any longer. I am tired of the constant editing and censorship. Before anyone lays the blame on someone else, always think about why you might have got a certain response, it might make you a bit more thoughtful in future. Just try and remember Keith we are not superhuman, we are normal people trying to make a decent item for our customers. When you finish your days work I assume you go home to your family and have some relaxation. Our days often end when we finally go to bed. We get phone calls at ungodly hours and have some customers e-mail us 10 or 12 times a day and then decide to buy a used one. Just try and put yourself in our shoes and think before you become one of those customers. Probably 99% of my customers love my product and the way I have dealt with them, once in a while I might get frustrated by a customer who sends a barrage of questions, one at a time. If I ask a customer not to do that, it is not with the intention of offending them or being rude, it is to try and keep the wait time down for the customers who have already ordered, paid for their goods and have been given an expected wait time. No offense was meant to you and I am sorry if you took it the wrong way. I have no more time to spend on this subject , it has already taken too much of my time now, all the best, Neil.

Neil if you recall, I put out feelers on the yellow for anyone who had one of your products to let me see/feel/hear what they were all about. I live in Florida and simply asked others in my area if they had one to please allow me to check it out. You got upset and said you didn’t like tire kickers. But I didn’t ask you for anything. I simply asked other members. I wanted to check out one of your products and see if it would help or not. Maybe I didn’t even need one and my gun was already quiet enough. So yes, your attitude about the issue spoke volumes. I am sure you make a great product. Everyone’s posts I have read states that fact emphatically. But it was your attitude I didn’t like. Of course there is no record of this because it’s somewhat of a taboo subject on the yellow and Steve took it down.

So please keep in mind one very important thing. I am in no way disparaging your product. I am simply speaking to your attitude. I realize we can get on this internet of ours and sometimes things get totally out of hand or misconstrued. For that I again apologize.

Keith.

All I can tell you is that Neal C. Makes a Fine Product!

Keith I have gone through our e-mails and see absolutely nothing to support your post about me’

This appears to be the extent of my rudeness.

Keith I am not sure, if they both use 1/2 inch x 20 threads and both have the same diameter shroud on them then it should be OK but without having both guns in front of me to look at I just can not answer it with 100% certainty, Neil.

No apologies needed, I just need members to understand that I make custom items, I do not make standard sizes for any particular gun, I work with each customer to get them what they need based on what they tell me they are going to use the gun for. Hunters want something short and light, back yard shooters want something very quiet and are not so concerned about the length. Trying one from another member might give you an idea of how effective that particular unit is but it might not represent what I would recommend for your gun, have a good weekend, Neil.

Here is your e-mail to me, I see nowhere in our conversations where there was anything said that could be seen as rude or disrespectful. Here is the e-mail I received from you with regards to a comment you made about me on the yellow forum.

Mr Clague, I would like to sincerely apologize for anything I did wrong when making my post on the Yellow forum about your products. I can assure you I truly meant no harm. I have been interested in your products for quite a while now. I had no idea that each item was custom built for each gun. I simply thought if you made a product for a particular gun, then it would also fit another gun of the same type. Much like the Airstreams and Huggetts. Please forgive my ignorance on this matter. I’m am still fairly new to this hobby and was looking for something to use in my backyard without always having to go to the range.

I have not and will not attempt to disparage or besmirch your products in any way. I realize they are of the highest quality and very much sought after. Again please accept my humble apology on this matter.

I hope this sheds some light on the extent of my disrespect towards you, all the best, Neil.

I’ve got a couple of LDCs you may use. A few slip-on with a set screw or a screw-on kind.
PM me and I will let you know which ones I have.
