Leaking air another spot now???
Today my air tank came in. Started filling it up and at around 2000psi I started hearing the leak. It’s actually coming out around the brass insert. What or how can I repair this or tighten it? Seems it would need a special tool to tighten it or anything.

Wow this thing is brittle like plastic! Def need a new one.
I assume I have to empty the tank to put a new o ring in correct? Going to try and tighten first. Thanks for the fast response fellas!!!
Could need a o-ring or it could be the threads leaking. Time to get out the soapy water :biggrinn:
You can tighten it with a long nose pliers.
The o ring under the top hat is #014

Ya emptied the tank and removed the brass. The o ring was as hard as plastic and cracked. Put a new one in and all good. Cleaned the leaky Foster fitting also and it seems good now too.
