Can’t tell from that angle. Have to pop the tophat out, take a rather large flathead screwdriver between the bronze piece and the tophat and rotate. Should pop out.

This is safe to do with pressure in the tank HOWEVER you may want to let the pressure empty before you do it, if it has some major problem, we wouldn’t want the derlin piece failing and the tank turning into a rocket.

On a side note, I know your pain having to constantly pump it up from zero psi. I was having issues with mine a while back, and only way to try and fix it was to drain all the air. And then pump back up. This was middle of the summer, and I thought I was going to die from all the pumping. 😛

No you dont need new valve.

It cost like $50 to get the parts needed to upgrade your valve. Airforce will sell you the parts needed.

where can i get a new valve though, do i have to get a new tank with it?

not sure if you can tell if its new or old from a pic but here are a couple pics to show the dents on the valve

alright i will

Send the valve my way, if you get a new one.

oh i didnt know that i thought mine was a newer one caught i have the 4 screws to take out the barrel
i think i will just get a new valve because there is a couple dents on the top of the top hat
i dont think it would be even worth trying to save this one

and also would that also be why its leaking? (old valve)

and while were here lol

i got my pump today and pumped up the tank
i turned the bleed valve and it literally sounded like i was gonna empty the tank thats how much air was coming out
is that a normal thing or am i just having really really bad luck

You my friend probably have an old Condor valve and they can have issues.

New valve parts can be ordered and replaced for a few bucks.

But what you might need to do is get some silicon lube and lubricate your top hat stem and oring. If it is dry and dirty it could be causing the stem to drag and decrease your velocity

power wheel at 7 but when i was getting low power shot i cranked it to 12 and nothing happened

tuned condor

valve tune

24′ barrel

stock hammer- am buying a 70 gram hammer so i can increase fill psi

not sure on the top hat i didnt set it the guy who i bought it from said tony had set it, he also said he had played with it to try and get a higher fill but with no luck so he said he put it back to where it was

2300 psi fill as recommended by tony

Tell me about your gun.

Barrel length

Power wheel setting

Top hat setting

The PSI fill in your tank.

Then lets find out why it is shooting so slow.

is it a lifetime warranty
the gun is at least 2 years old i bout it used

also i shot it a little tonight power is way low i was shooting eun jins at a 2×4 at about 20 yard only dented it a little
would that also be because theres crap under there?

Sound like you have some crap on your valve seat.

If you cant get it to stop leaking call Airforce to sort it out for you.

That way your warranty is in tack.

if i turn the top hat it stops though maybe thats the problem

it looks clean and ill try that in a bit… once i fill it up.. again! 😛 ill let you know if that helps
