Leaper scopes clarity at high magnification question.
Sorry if it’s been discussed before but I’m looking at the 6-24×56 and the 8-32×56 Leapers scope and would like to know from any owners are they happy with the clarity on these two scope at max magnification.
I own a Elite 4000 and it’s sharp at 24x but my Tasco Varmint 6-24 is abit hazy at 24x. I know… you get what you pay for but….

Leapers high mag suck… don’t do it.
I’ve got the Leapers you speak of, on high mag it’s just not as clear, and eye placement becomes very critical. (as it does with most scopes at higher mags) It’s usable though. I also have a 8-32X60 Nikko Sterling Nighteater that I like way better than the Leapers, for around the same price, you might want to look into those. Quite a few guys here have them and like them. Leapers can also be kind of iffy in the QC dept.

I think that depends your expectations. I have all leapers and centerpoint scopes/ I happen to like the centerpoints better (whopping $10 price diffence even for the 6-24×50). I use them at 24x shooting 10m sometimes, I also use them shooting plastic army men at 50y back in the woods.
All I’m saying is that they work for me and the shooting I do, your milage may vary.
I just picked up an Osprey that seems to be pretty good but it’s still unmounted so hard to judge.
