LEE BULLETS MOLDS

Needed to buy a .454 round ball mold for casting . Been hearing a lot about bullets being bigger than the stated mold size from Lee molds . So I read on their site under mold questions were the molds are made .003 – .000 over stated size . So I called them and was told that with the round ball molds if you use pure lead the mold will produce the size stated on the mold . If you use a harder lead then it will produce a larger size . But with the bullet molds they are made to produce a bullet roughfly .003 larger than the stated size and to be resized to the stated size that is marked on the mold . Marvin
