Q:

Lelya .177 unstable FPS

took her out for some targets shooting and noticed right away that something was wrong. Turnd out the hammer spring adjustment was loose…Readjust and tighten it back up and took another shot. But still doesn’t feel right.

This Lelya is 4 yrs old with no issue till now. I been trying since yesterday to figure out what’s going on. Lost count of how many times I run it over the chrony but always the same result, doesn’t matter how the hammer spring is adjusted the FPS alway started low and increases with each shot count. This is driving me crazy
Hope someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks

Just take her apart… as you mentioned, there are the assembly/disassembly videos on youtube and there are so few parts that it will be hard to screw things up.
It’s very straightforward so you shouldn’t worry.

I took mine apart yesterday as it was leaking… I just took all parts out, cleaned a little and added some silicone grease here ant there and it seems to have fixed the leak, so far so good.

Q

Does Ernest work on the Leyla? many people have been happy with his work.

quote Veerkracht:

Hi Yellowyak,

I think your regulator is not working good.
A good cleaning, greasing and a few o-rings solves the problem.

Regards, Robert.

I was hoping that wasn’t the case. In all honesty I’m a little nervous taken it apart. I have watched the disassembly/assembly on youtube and they seem pretty easy but I’m sure I’ll find a way to screw it up somehow.
