Q:

Lelya 50 yards today

I went to my local range today and made three groups at 50 yards. A little bit windy. 10 shots each group. I know they are not very good group, but I can feel it can be better later. Hope to see others. I’ll try do another groups next time.

First squirrel at 30 yards, dead right on the spot. Lelya .177 15ftlb is enough power for the tough small game.

I got some good news today,I Just got notice to receive my Lelya tomorrow.I hope she is a beauty !! Plus I will have good weather till Sunday. Kind of feels like Christmas haha. Only bad thing is I don’t have a case for it yet. Keyser thanks for those links. But I really couldn’t tell how the inside of that Blackhawk case looked, only pictures of outside of case. . Does yours have any inside pockets or straps? I don’t think I’ll need pockets but I don’t want gun shifting will carrying it around. Thanks for your help. Yes I seen those two guns for sale earlier also. This time last year those would of went just as fast as they were posted.

There are new and used ones for sale on the YF.

Mine is a 30-40 yard gun the way I use it and I usually am resting off the side of something with the back of one of my arms or free hand. I love my lelys enough to order two new ones, nuf said !!

I used medium rings. The diopter is too large for anything shorter.

I use this case

these rings

Ok I might be sold on that case, does the straps inside hold gun secure from inside shifting. I have that same 10×42 on my 22 matador and love it. But thought it might be a little heavy on the front of Lelya , I will try it soon just to see, Man that vortex looks sweet keyser, what size rings you use . Can I ask your thoughts on that scope zeroing and focusing? I’m wanting a fixed scope for 10 on up 50 yds maybe a little higher for hunting. Just trying to make the right choice the first time. Thanks

Ride I noticed that too. In some ways it’s easier to shoot free hand.

Lelya’s shoot great but are hard to bench and shoot without introducing some torque, you can tell when it is you or the gun, mine is a tack driver if I hold it well. I got my money order back from Tony and sent a new one for both guns I had ordered today…

I put the Vortex 2.5-10X32 FFP MOA on mine. Doesn’t mess the balance up

The scope is swfa ss 10×42. It would be nice if it’s 1 or 2 inches shorter. I’m still looking for a better compact scope to fit the lelya. I use one piece scope mount that I got here http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00K72YVVU/ref=pe_385040_128020140_TE_3p_dp_1 , just easy to use, not for heavy recoil rifle. I cannot see the air level when aiming.
I can get about 25 shots at 880 fps for jsb 8.44g pellet. but my lelya seems like 10.34g jsb better. I think it can get about 35 shots if I shoot 780 fps. But I’d like to get a reg. tester to play with the reg. setting.
The small size utg case works well for me.

Hey Charlie nice looking gun. What size swfa scope and rings are you using. Do they work well for you. I’m fixing to get my Lelya that’s why I’m asking. I also see the small utg case is that a good fit for Lelya , I’m still trying to decide on a case also. Ive been torn between the utg and the Blackhawk case. Mostly I want the smallest case for the gun. What is your shot count like with that little gem
