Q:

Lelya in 177 or 22?

From what I’ve read, there is no different in fps in either caliber which should mean the 22 delivers the same flat trajectory as the 177 but with more down range power. Anyone have any real world experience with these in both calibers? Normally I’d just get 22 but read somewhere (probably here) that the Lelya is a pistol turned small bullpup form and doesn’t have the longevity in 22 that it would in 177.

.177 is just as (or more) accurate, gives you more shots and it’s considerably more silent.

I had the same dilema and decided to go .177 and it’s a joy to shoot! If you need more punch you can always feed it with Exact Heavy or the new Exact Monster.
