3 hours to Va. beach from here , my brother inlaw lives there, also Yes culpeper is 45 mins from my house and Frairfax is around 50 mins .. Dont hunt bear ,but they go through my property often , I like to see them more that hunting them , but I do take down the deer ,they taste better than Bear meat and theres a whole lot more of them !
Norhtern! I’m live in Fairfax County. I have property in Culpeper also. So I’m out there a lot. I hang out down in Madison some times too. Bout down the street from Front Royal. You do any bear hunting over there?

Thanks , it started as a 24 inch 32/20 barrel .It had pleanty of power for a firearms barrel ,but no accuracy ,so I decided to cut it to 12 inches ,bump up the valve , hammer and spring and I was very surprised at the out come and accuracy @ 30-50 yards.I neeed to go to the range and bench it and get some numbers ,but its colder than a witches titty out there ,but I will get to that when I have the extra time.
