Q:

Leshiy .177 to .25

Hi.
I have a Leshiy in cal .177 and a .25 barrel. When I use the .25 barrel I get arround 680fps with JSB king 25grs but I see others get more out of it.
Can someone tell me what is the expected fps in .25 and how many click is normal from .177 to .25 on the tension skrew?

My gun shoots flat down to (an indicated) 110 bar. .22 / 15 grains / 795 fps / 250mm barrel

I’ve got Leshiy #58, and the regulator has 130 written on it with a black permanent marker. However, I got the gun from EDgun West, and he assured me the gun would be set to 110 bar. I am under the impression that he was adjusting the guns before shipping them out.

Brian, am I correct?

Mine arrived shooting 640fps to 650fps with the regulator set to 130 bar. If you have an earlier serial number, their is a chance your regulator needs to be turned down. What temperature are you running your gun over the chronograph?

I set about 720 – 740 f/sec with 250 mm barrel. Ask the previous owner if he didn’t readjusted the regulator for .177?

What does the manual say for you with the regulator set to 130 bar?

Nothing in manual abt reg setting just says preset from factory, most seem to have set pressure written on them easy to check out

In my manual it says operating pressure 110-300 bar. So I think the regulator is set to 110 bar then.

I have gone over 800 fps with mine in .25 while testing.

With a short barrel? 110bar plus hammer spring adjustment did the trick?

I use the JSB Exact King 25,39 gr pellets. I will check my regulator later if it is not confirmed that the new ones comes with 110 bar.

It was a seller in Sweden that told me that they use a weaker hammerspring for the UK market.

Second that check reg mine has the 110 on it , UK not to sure about the weaker hammer Spring though plenty power hear,
I did disgus with supplier abt lowering power for uk market at time of purchase weaker hammer Spring wasn’t mentioned,
What make/weight pellets are you using?

The first thing I did to mine was turn down the regulator to around 110 bar (around 60 degrees CW) from factory 130 bar. If you take your stock off it should be marked on the regulator as to what the setting is. Mine was marked 130 bar. I have gone over 800 fps with mine in .25 while testing.

Yes maybe. I hoped someone here would know. I just tried to set it to 11 click but it sounds like it is consuming to much air. From 11 click to 8 click it is almost no difference in speed. I get about 715 fps but with a strange sound. Down to 7 clicks i get just under 700 fps. That is ok but I see some gets more than that. Maybe the .177 ships with a different hammerspring? I know the low powered UK models comes with a weaker spring.

bmd , think you should go to the maker himself , ask ED .

Ok I will try that. But I think the regulator is set to 110 bar already because the manual says operating pressure is 110-300 bar and the Leshiy is prodused Desember 2016. I think the regulator is set to 110 bar on all new Leshiy

Loose the hammer spring totally (clockwise till there is no more clicks). Then counterclockwise 11 clicks. If it does not help you need to set the regulator to 110bar.
