Q:

Leshiy barrel

Merry Christmas to everyone!! Just need some help on Leshiy barrel..

When changing it.. is there any particular end that needs to be on the back or front? It looks the same so not sure where is the end to load the pellet?

Well, I thought that all my users are qualified ones 🙂 In fact there are two end of the barrel, the crown has a small bevel, the breech end bigger one. Besides the barrels are chocked so you can use the rod and one pellet to find the right end.

Nice one ed!

Here’s what i did with mine

Yes and it is choked maybe less than and inch if the feeling of an old guy is correct.. 😛 😛 😛

Thanks Ed for chiming in.. the bevel is so small that is not visible to an old guy eyes.. :biggrinn: :biggrinn:

Tried what Greg has advised and while inserting the pellet I’ve noticed the head is tighter on the choked end and it will go half way on the other end where you said there was a small bevel and much shiny finish… so I made it as the marker in inserting the barrel.. If ever another unqualified user encountered this they will now know what to do.. :8: :8: :8:

So Leshiy barrels are choked? I always thought there is no choke.

Yes, they are. I asked LW to make light choke for them.

Yes there are no markings or crown.. Will do what you suggest that’s the most possible way to see..

Thanks Greg..

….. no marking of any kind ?

that interesting ………. but I don’t own one yet.

I’d push through a pellet with a wooden dowel and see which way has a resistance indicating the crown/choked end …… . and use a Sharpie to mark for reference.
