Leshiy barrels – 250mm vs 350mm
Is there any reason to pick One over the other? The only difference I can see is that you can have more power with the longer barrels and they should therefore be quiter at the same velocity. The gun is still Compact enough to fit my backpack using the 350mm barrel so I don’t mind.
If you look at Ed’s videos the accuracy does not seem to improove that much in .25 when comparing the two different lengths.

Once I went to a gun shop to buy a 12 ft/lbs airgun pistol.
The guy told me “For this you need a firearms license”
I replied “Really? Then please give me that Ruger GP100 in .357 Magnum” :rofl:

Nope, if you like pcps then just wait and when the moment comes just get a license and you will have truckloads of pcps almost for free.
Wooden stocks though will still have a price because you can burn them to produce heat :rofl:

Very soon all high power and big caliber pcps will require the same paperwork as a firearm or at least as a rimfire.
But actually this is no surprise, the real surprise is that currently you don’t need it.
At that moment what will happen with those pcps that have 5 times the price of a rimfire? We will see but I think to know already.
There was no need for a Matador rimfire because there are already plenty of proven guns out there and at that point probably you prefer to buy american and being a patriot 😀
Dear Brian, do you really think that the pellet will be effected by muzzle jump of Vulcan 450 mm barrel ? If so then Edgun standard with 477 mm barrel should also be effected by that as it also pretty light weight and at full power has the muzzle jump. IMO Pellet, though it travels at less speed, will be out of the barrel by that time.
Well, I for One cannot get a hold of a real gun. Not only do you need the correct paperwork you also (where I am from anyways) need a Big weapons cabinet or “gun wardrobe” that needs to be bolted Into the floor and wall, or if it is heavy enough that won’t be needed.
I don’t own the Place I live in so I cannot Bolt this Big piece of Metal anywhere. And even so I do not fulfill the requirements to warrant the ownership of a rifle.
Getting a Nice gun is hard where I live, it is easier if you live down South where Sir Ville lives because there are tons of shooting clubs you can join etc…
And this is why you need to pay that much for it.
.22LR with a silencer is a way better solution. Ed proposed to make Matador .22LR but it did not meet any enthusiasm. Why?

The rimfire with subsonic ammo and silencer is the most silent gun you can get, the only noise is the mechanical noise of the action, no silenced high powered pcp can reach this level of silence.
In addition the full setup in bolt or semiauto is only between 600-700 USD so if you have the right papers you can have “professional fun” for really cheap.
I had a Ruger 10/22 with a custom barrel and it was a terrific light weight short package.
Ruger now makes also this 10/22 pistol-carbine and it is awesome.
The Ruger pistol-carbine is called “Ruger 22 Charger” MSRP 309 USD :rofl: .
It exists also in Take Down version, 10 inches long :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
But a pcp to my knowledge is still free of any kind of authorization in the US and this is a big plus!
Performance will be the same for the most part. I opted for longer on my personal Leshiy because it has been my experience that super short .25s can be hard to shoot because of muzzle jump. Although the energy will be less than the Vulcan the AGN is a very difficult gun to shoot well because of muzzle jump. I don’t know if it will make a difference in the Leshiy . The cool thing is the barrel options are very affordable so changing is easy.

“Longer barrel” is more accurate only because of longer sight radius when shooting with open sights.

I already decided upon 350mm barrel IF I get this gun, just wanted to hear your opinions.

in my oily country ,,, we are not allowed to import air rifles ,,,(im not even talk about the firearms) … but if you have got money ,,,you can buy any firearms in the local gun shops without any license and documents … :biggrinn: :biggrinn: :biggrinn: :biggrinn: like AK47 or BKC , OR Sniper Rifles ,,, pistols are just drinking a cup of tea ,,,, such a stupid law and government ////
