Leyla Scope… MTC viper connect
After reading the Colibri scope thread I have decided that the perfect Leyla scope would be the MTC Viper Connect 3X12X32. The question I have is which reticle would be the best choice for the .20 Leyla?
AMD
SCB2

here you go ,,, http://www.mtcoptics.co.uk/mtcScopes.htm
can you post a link? I have looked everywhere and cant find the scope you guys are talking about. I too have a lelya .20 coming and am looking for a nice scope. thanks!!!! 😀
I am really leaning toward the Connect SL 3-12X24. I think the small scope with it’s better depth of field might be perfect for the Leyla. I also like the AMD but I worry it doesn’t have enough windage options. I will post photos when the girl and scope arrive.
3-12×24 also looks supercool!
AMD for me 🙂
And please, post the pics of your setup when you get the scope, I’m very very interested of how would it work on Lelya. I’m in the process of finding new scope and it’s either MTC Connect or Vortex 2.5-10×32. Of course if MTC works well on Lelya I’d be happy to get it instead of Vortex as the price difference is more than double (almost triple in fact).
i prefer AMD ,,,
it looks like more usable reticle ,,, i think,,,
No mate but u can buy a cheap hong kong one and have it milled down on one end 😉
Larry parallax error comes from inconsistent eye placement placement. This can be a real problem on a bullpup because there isn’t monte Carlo cheek piece to prevent parallax error because the design of the bullpup may not give the shooter consistent eye placement. For me I overcome this on bullpups by getting the lowest mount possible and staying down on the gun. A near zero eye relief scope prevents parallax error by allowing the shooter to use an eye cup or place their eye right next to the ocular lens. This also increases the field of view. The benefit benefit of a zero eye relief for me is I normally take a long LOP (length of pull) and the Leyla being so small I may have a hard time getting enough room for the scope. I do not want to push the scope so far forward and ruin the beautiful balance of the Leyla. So for me the MTC viper connect is perfect for the girl. Thanks for the replies so far airheads :8:
Dave I’m a member of your facebook group. I see some guys have the MTC viper mount on their Crickets. Does MTC sell the connect mount now with the picatinny rail?
Scb 2 ret got one on my bullpup great for wind speeds also with isrelok field of view is best I’ve seen on a scope had one on a rapid but didn’t suit that like it does bullpups these scopes take away parallax issues as there’s no eye relief your eye is right up against it perfect if u wear glasses also supprisingly power full scope for its size the best of the Mtc range by far u can also get the connect sl now as well with 25mm tube
One vote for the AMD, the other one is very busy! I understand this scope allows you to adjust parallax, can you school us on this feature? The dimensions and weight look to be right for the petite Leyla!!

I guess the poll isn’t working. If you could write in your vote I would appreciate it.
