Lightening a Condor trigger?
I added the screw mods for taking up the pre stage and over travel stop. Is there a way to lighten the trigger pull weight?

You might try checking the od of some drill bits….. The Crosman guys are
using them to replace the pins on the Crosman trigger parts with great
success….
I’ve never noticed side to side slop when shooting, its always tensioned. If it bothers you, you might try shimming it with a tiny plastic washer. They sell tiny ones at Lowes or Home Depot, you’ll probably have to sand it down until it is thin enough to fit in there.
how would you get rid of side to side slop in the trigger?
Give it a shot if you want, but be prepared for the risk of accidental discharge at the worst, or having to buy a whole new trigger group from AF at the least.
When I smoothed my trigger I gave it the SMALLEST amount of polishing, almost non exsistant as I was very worried about fucking it up. Still made a difference though.
If you do do it, just go real steady and do it bit by bit. It takes VERY LITTLE polishing and smoothing to get the desired effect….
Maybe a tiny dose of white grease to smooth things up a bit, but the stories are legion about folks completely bollixing their trigger group by sanding/grinding/polishing.

My stock trigger is fine enough.
I did move the trigger shoe down as far as I could and tipped the bottom forward as much as possible so that the trigger shoe just about bottoms out on the trigger guard as the hammer fires. Several other shooters like the way my Condor trigger feels and said it has a light pull.
i pulled my trigger group out and used a dremel tool with white rouge and polished al the contact surfaces of the pieces making shure not to remove any of the material just smooth the surfaces and with the over travel and preload screws it feels much better…..at least to me…
I did the trigger mod also, and still use the stock springs, My trigger is fine for me.
Be careful with the trigger group, you’ll wind up not being able to cock the rifle, or the rifle will fire at random.

I would keep the sear spring and not change it out. It needs to be strong to hold back the hammer.
The other 2 springs can be swapped out. But when you do be careful. I would cock the gun and start do some drop tests and bang on the frame a bit to make sure the gun will not accidently fire.
I use the stock springs with the trigger modifications and safety removed. I am happy with how it works with the stock springs .
you can change out the springs under the rail that holds it all in
but it might not catch when cocking then
