Q:

lino the sacman wtf

Yo guys, i got a strange email from sacman two weeks ago and never got a reply back from him as to what the hell happened.

I’ve been holding back on posting this but i think many of you care what’s up with the guy. So read on and send him a get well soon email will ya. And whoever knows what the f happened to him, fill us all in. That crazy sleep-deprived bastage used to fall asleep at the wheel on our drives back from mojave shooting. Hope he is alright. It reads like he was sending a mass email.

I had been living at my brother’s house since my accident. He was taking care of me since the accident and thru the 2 surgeries. I slowly regained my strength and mobility to do many daily things on my own again. And that gave me confidence to go on my own and try to live independently again. So last Sunday I moved back to my condo where I seem to be doing okay now.

As for my shoulder… I was scheduled to undergo a 3rd surgery today but I was relieved to hear my doctor ultimately made the decision that it was not necessary.

For the past 10 days, fluid discharge was coming out of a portion the surgical incision (nearest the arm pit). Doctor said the discharge from the incision that was still healing is normal up to 2-4 days after a surgery like mine. It could be that some of the staples were not completely closing up the incision. The main concern was that tissue in the incision might be getting infected.

So after 4 days the doctor gave me a prescription of antibiotics to prevent infection while we waited for the incision to heal more and for fluid discharge to stop. However, discharge continued up to the 8th day at which time the doctor scheduled a 3rd surgery to re-open the incision to do what is called a “post-op wash”. The procedure involved re-openning up the incision to inspect for and wash out any infected (or dead) tissue if there was any.

Fluid dicharge finally stopped on the 9th day. Today was the 10th day (and also the day of the 3rd surgery). The doctor made a pre-surgery examination and said there were no signs of infection at the surface and no more fluid discharge so there was no more need for surgery. I was elated and very relieved to hear that.

I wasn’t able to get any sleep last night worrying about having to undergo the 3rd surgery. So when I got back home this morning I ate a little, wrote and emailed this update, and I now plan to finally get some restfull sleep.

Shit,

Not a clue. I hope he did not crash on his bike or something. Does not sound good at all

He called me a few weeks back and asked if I could alter something for a motorized bike for him. But the part was to big so I never hooked up with him
