Little help with a Shithead Scammer
Guys don’t know if you all have read any of the threads about Thomas Allen and the rifle he ” sold ” to multiple people and kept all the money …Anyway the guys who got screwed over are all on the west coast and He is in Pennsylvania. And the police across the country kinda got bigger things on their minds at the moment ..
Anyway my Hillbilly Ass had the idea that if maybe a few well placed calls and emails were placed to his employers maybe they could convince him to do right so we would stop calling and emailing https://www.trianglerefrigeration.com/index.php.
Here’s a link to his place of work , and his boss is named Kevin . Feel free to express yourselves as you see fit . This could have been ANY of us it happened to . Word has been left with his boss to have Thomas contact AGN and make it right with the people he stole from and all the negative posts will come down .

If anything was done via the mail (USPS) the postmaster general will go after him for mail fraud.
Around here, it’s $35 to file a small claims. The guy won’t show up for court, so you get a judgement against him. Then, put a lien on his property, such as a vehicle, home, boat, anything. If a bunch of people do it, it’ll show up when he tries to borrow money or get a loan. If a bunch of people do it and he has a vehicle or property of value, it’ll lower what he makes and complicate any sales.
It’s “small potatoes” so you’re not likely to get hired “goons” to throw bricks with notes through his window, clip the valves off his tires, etc. You know, the stuff thugs do to create fear and unease. None of us would ever condone such behavior.

I decided to give his boss a call today . Laid out briefly what had happened and apologized for having to go to this extreme to have him make it right …His boss was actually very cordial , but you could tell irritated.
I’m hoping a few.other guys will call up the human recourses at triangle , or ask for management over the installers and apply pressure . He is for sure reading the thread about him on AGN because he took down where he works and his friends list . The more guys who irritate his bosses , he will FOR FUCKING SURE have to do something .
Call away guys if you get a free few minutes next week .
And to the New Zealand guy ….Google Police officers murdered …..And you will get a better handle of what they are kinda dealing with in the USA at the moment. Some drug addict scamming some guys online over BB guns is just silly to them . I know 2 cousins and an uncle are all cops .

I totally agree with you. You’d be surprised what people get away with here. The problem is the PD may arrest the guy but the DA won’t file. They won’t bother with the case. I once dealt with a rape case but because the girl new the POS rapist the DA didn’t bother filing. The District Attorney is worried about his win/loss ratio. A 90% conviction rate will parley his 100K DA job into 1,000,000 dollar job at a private law firm.

Nuisance case or not that is their job we pay them to do. If the same thing happened here that guy would be locked up the next day and if for some strange reason there was no follow up from the police like you are saying the police department would be put over the hot coals
Believe me at least one of the guys he stole from would LOVE to look his ass up . But like I said he was at least smart enough to swindle guys on the other side of the country . And like the one post says . To law enforcement its a nuisance case . The guy already has a criminal record , but not much is being done .
I remember one of these a few years ago and the enforcement gets tricky depending on how the money was handled and what was shipped if anything. in the end it is relatively so little money and expensive to prosecute. If money or something was mailed it might be postal fraud. No one will set up a sting for a few measly thousand dollars. It’s not a firearm so the BATF doesn’t care here. It’s nothing the FBI cares about. You might get a local cop to visit the house but without a lot of proof I doubt he does anything but gives a warning. I guess you could take the guy to small claims court but that won’t make him pay if he loses. If someone visits him and roughs him up they might end up in more trouble than him unless it is very covertly done. It’s not always as simple as it seems here unless you want to stretch the law too.

Clearly air gunners in the USA are too friendly/soft and have a very shitty police force.
I can tell you if someone stole from me and I knew who it was you would definitely be reading a news story about the outcome..

This is probably the best route if it’s correct. Calling his place of work may help too, but there are a lot of HR rules so they just can’t toss him out for an unrelated and unproven outside of work conduct. His boss may keep it in mind and wait until he screws up on the job. Do not forget that this guy is a professional criminal and he spent his entire adult life screwing regular people over and he is able to take advantage of our rotten corrupt and inept system. For the rest of us…do not get caught spitting on the sidewalk…
