Q:

Loctite help

When I replace my 24 inch 22 cal Condor barrel with a 117, I used blue loctite as some one on here suggested to keep everything tight. Well I much have use too much and it got down on the bushings and I went to take it back out and it is stuck in the gun. I heated it and pounded on it till I’m afraid I’ll damage some thing. Any one know of what I can spray in there to break the loctite. ?? Open for suggestions. It shoots super with 117, but I wanted to try a 25 cal barrel as well. TIA. Brian Smith

If it got in between the bushings and the frame, you may have to use a heat gun. HF has a cheap one on sale. 9 bucks and change. 😉

I’ll give that a try. I have a waller dual heat. Thanks. Brian

Take a soldering iron and put the tip on the head of the screw. It will melt the locktite
