Look what showed up
Got tired of dealing with my local phony dive shop. It as like pulling teeth to get them to put 4500 psi in my scott air pac. I know it will take a long time to pay for it. Now I don’t have to worry about wasting air playing with the regs. So now I can fill it and keep filling it beyond it’s 15 year limit.

Good idea about hour meter. Just ordered one from McMaster Carr. It will be here tomorrow.

Fired up the compressor today. Filled scuba from 2300 psi to 3100 psi in 8 min. Scott air pac from 3600 psi to 4500 psi in 12 min.

I thought that looked like Mr. Shelden’s plumbing…and writing on the switch box. Congratulations! You are going to love it! Yes, I do have a Shelden compressor. I used it last night. It is just too cool, but it is a heavy piece of equipment. I really like my Hamworthy compressor. 😉

2.4 cfm from Jim Shelden. I taked to you before you have one also right. I have to change the plug so I can fire it up today. Can’t wait. Also just bought one of those 44 cf tanks in the for sale section to have a smaller tank. I’m going to make a aluminum cage to go around it and mount some rubber feet on also.
