Looking for a 100 yard gun…
I am looking for a gun that I have a chance to shoot 100 yards somewhat actually.
Need it light as possible.
Has to be QUIET!!!!!!!!!
Would like .22 but will go to .25 if absolutely necessary.
66% target 33% hunting small game.
Would like to use a 4-16 scope but willing to do more power if necessary.

Have you ever tried one of Tony’s Moderators on the Condor SS? Been thinking about doing that, but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Mine is a .22, but also thinking about getting a .25 18″ SS length barrel for it so I can better take advantage of the power of the Condor. I’ve got my PW set all the way to “0/0”, smallest orifice in the TT Tophat, and an 0-ring behind it and I’m still getting too much speed for the Crosman Permier’s… Got a JSB multi-pellet kit to try some heavier ammo. Hoping an additional moderator and heavier pellet will allow me to jack it up a bit.
The condor frame is the same length as the SS Talon. Only the scope rail is longer. So Very-Very little difference in weight. But it is stiffer. A Condor SS is longer than either, and probably no more than 1/4 lb. more than a standard condor. If that much.
Sure Wish I had gone with a Condor from the get go! This was long before the SS condor came about. It would be a no brainer for me. Condor SS All the way! Stiffer frame, and has the sound lock system. A Win-win! 😉

Talon or Condor will get the job done beyond 100 yards. The Talon has a smaller frame so it will be lighter than the Condor. Both Tony at Talon Tunes and Randy at R&L have excellent shrouds that will keep the sound level down. I personally like the .25 for the down range energy. Guess it depends on what you’re planning to hunt.

I have Talon SS 22, Daystate Huntsman Regal 22, and Cricket 22.
With the Cricket 22 I can do sub inch grouping at 100 yards. And can do 3/8 at 50 yard (this is before tuning and I may do better now after I tuned it). Its extremely accurate.
The Daystate is very accurate too. I was able to do 0.5 inch grouping at 50 yards but never tried at 100 yet (on my list to do).
I love my talon SS and despite being the least accurate I use it often in hunting for its light weight. Mine (not tuned) cant however reach the accuracy level I saw with the Daystate or the Crickets (which are 3 times more expensive too).
