Looking for advice on my next PCP… AA or Daystate???
First off I’m not here to start a “vs” topic on caliber but it is part of my advice needed.
So what I have/had was a Condor .22cal and my current AA .22cal S410-SL Xtra FAC that I’ve been tinkering with, meaning I’ve taken it apart and played with it to see what she does after my adjustments.
I’m itching for another FAC rated PCP. Either another S410 Xtra in .177cal OR wait until the new year and hope Pamona gets some more in and not sell out right away is the Daystate AW MCT in .22cal.
I’m in Canada so I can get the S410 .177 right away but the Daystate will take some time as I have to phone the CFO here in Canada to see if the AW is allowed for import to Canada. Pamona sends out FAC rated PCP’s to Canada all the time without problem as long as the item is not prohibited because of OA length or a silencer/ shroud like the Maruader yet the AA is legal in Canada… go figure 🙄
I just can’t decide… 99% of my shooting will be plinking with MAYBE the hopes of attending a few FT matches come 2010. The other 1% will be for pest control the largest being a raccoon (headshots only).
All advice are welcome…. Get a AA .177 S410-SL Xtra FAC now for $1300 CAN or wait for at least 3 – 5 months for $2300 CAN Daystate .22 AW MCT (if allowed in Canada and from what I read would be the Farrari of all PCP’s) for 98% backyard plinking, 1% FT matches, 1% pest control.
Thanks to all.

Doesn’t T-Tron have an MCT?
Speaking of Teflon Tron where has he been?
