Josh, did you ever get this adapter made? Isn’t it something that Broadalbin manufacturing could do? Or maybe Don Snell at Countryside?

If you can get rick to do it for you, then maybe take him up on his offer. He has had more experience with it and has done one before. Unfortunately neither Rick or myself are a simple drive into the next town, so that would require doing it through the mail. Not as nice as coming over with a Starbucks or two and hanging out but certainly posting it for delivery is much more convenient.
Well let me know if you end up needing my help, I did kinda speak before I checked myself and my schedule. I am somewhat busier than I had anticipated BUT I can always make the time avail to make things work out if you dont find yourself a faster alternative.
I like helping out and giving back to the community, I just cant guarantee an exact time to completion as we would just have to play the whole thing by ear. If Rick or no else can help let me know. Perhaps between both Rick and myself we can both get ya t o where you are going. He might have some solid direction or plans on how to do what it is that you need. I am sure it shouldnt be too difficult. 😆

If Doug can’t hook you up, I can.

I have made one for Brocock Concept before.

Rick

Too bad it is metric!
Metric threads on my lathe are very iffy. Pretty much a hit and miss try and try again until it is right.
I certainly can’t imagine trying to tap it by hand .
To get it square and concentric requires cutting threads in the lathe. Probably would need the AG barrel to do it right.
Likely would want new proper thread cutting tooling, my current inside thread cutter tooling is makeshift at best.
I am not a machinist and far from anywhere accomplished at metalworking. I just happened across a lathe and have been able to wing it on my own.
Every project is a new lesson and I just keep at it until I get it right….. I am definitely not too speedy or swift enough for production and or profit. Just a hobby or novelty for me
Where you located?
