Q:

Lost accuracy in mini Prod pup..

Before installing my new Rapid kit, my Prod was getting 1″ groups at 50 with polymags.
Today I started shooting my first groups with my Prod pupped out and it’s 4″ shotgun pattern at 35yds!
I then fed it the Beeman FTS which grouped one hole as they always do.
The Polymags are from the same tin from when they were accurate before..
Any ideas?

you track down the issues yet haggard?

Looks to me the pellet box is the source.

rapid as in the rapid prod pup conversion right?

did you change mags out from a old one to a new one? if so you may be bending the skirts, try single loading the pellets and see if it changes, if the results dont get better then i would try aligning the shroud cause it may be clipping.

i know in some instances one pellet will clip and another wont which throws people for a loop sometimes in these situations.

im not familliar with the rapid conversions, is the front tube clamp also clamping on the shroud tube as well? if so it may be mis aligned a little and would also cause clipping.

just throwing ideas out there, i know polymags have rather frail skirts in both 177 and 22 cal. i would start with magazine tension and single loading and work forward
