Lothar Walther barrels and firearms bullets
Hello everybody from Argentina.
I have a Lothar barrel (original condor barrel) and I want to shoot .221 bullets. I know I need to put them to .219. The question is if this kind of bullet can be used in this kind of barrels or they may be damaged.

You can use Italian without any problem.
Should I use Italian which I learned in my studies in Italy, perhaps achieve something in the search cazaconaire,i hope to find something Difficulty 6 to 10 (some friends of mine from Spain chose to learn Italian) 😆

Regarding the 9mm:
9mm LW barrel of 31″ lenght.
Big bore valve made by Pablo Vilar.
Heavy (not so heavy) spring.
Heavy hammer ( I don’t remember right now the exact weight)
The bullet is a 9mm pistol bullet.
Accuracy is not so good, 3 inches at 50 meters, but I don’t care about this particular topic now, because I want to arrive up to 1200fps with this weight and then try different slugs to test accuracy.
The task is not so difficult, because with 150bar of Helium and air to achieve 300 bar I can afford it (that’s I wish !!!)
Helium is useful to increase the velocity up to a 25% of the standard velocity measured with air at the same pressure.
with only air at 200 bar, and a 9mm barrel too with 900fps with 123 grains.

TODAY 12-7-2012 airguns are considered TOYS.
Firearms instead are the rappresentation of evil in the world and there are several burocratic restrictions regarding firearms in Argentina.
For the above mentioned, I have my condor with 38,5 grains slugs flying up to 1000fps with only air at 200 bar, and a 9mm barrel too with 900fps with 123 grains.
So, there is no nedd to firearms for small hunting.
The question regarding .221 bullets is because they are relatively inexpensive and well performed, so, it’s a good choice for my condor.

If you’re sizing down lead bullets, go for it; if you’re thinking of sizing down copper jacketed bullets, don’t bother.
