Q:

lother polygon barrel.

Has anyone had any experience of the lother polygon barrels? i was thinking of getting one but wanted to hear if anyone rates them or has an opinion about them? i have heard they can be very accurate but they can also be a little fussy as to what pellet you put down them. Any views are welcome.

On another note, does anyone know off hand what the thread size is of the set screws which hold the barrel inside the frame? im just making some barrel bushings at work so dont have a screw handy to measure. thanks.

I have a 24″ .22 on my Talon/stealth and im finding it very accurate from a 30yd zero out to 60yds , Does`nt seam pellet fussy as it likes 18 grain JSB and 19 grain H&N Barracuda Extreme and 21 grain Bis Mags they virtually shoot the same group .

Sorry i dont have pictures of my groups as i mainly shoot at plastic drums of farm where i work then they get recycled.

Cheers Mark

I have no experience using both barrel on the same gun but i do have one in .177 that i build for benchrest competition. Ill be leaning toward what tony said that no definite advantage swapping from the normal lw barrel. Initially i build my .177 poly for hunting but when i run it at low speed i get crazy accuracy. Its not pellet fuzzy but i get the best result with green kodiak at 820fps. At 25m i can get 6 7mm hole 10shots grouping from a non regulated gun. Other than that, i had no other experience with poly barrel.

in my opinion I saw no real advantage to them.
the thread for barrel bushings are 10-32.
