What’s up group, just a recap with my Vulcan Tactic, i’ve had it now about year and some change i guess. I sent it off to the Guru to work his magic because she developed spiraling with an assortment of pellets. After having her for 4 months (i was deployed), and doing his things she still slings lead 790 for heavies and 877 for the kings and she will still spiral 50% of the time giving be groups of .5 inches at 50 yards and up to 1.5 – 2 inches at 75 yards. So i’m pissed so i ordered and impact in .25 cal (ha,ha, ha) No i really did. But i found out that if i hand load the pellets I know can shoot the MKI’s which i could never shoot because of pellet jamming, and the MKII’s in 1 inch or less at 75 yards. The kings are still all over the map, but i’ve found a new found love for my tactic again. So i’ve go 4 magazines and its hit or miss which one cause spiraling, i will continue to play with the mag to see if i can figure out what the deal is. But when the shot counts thing i will just hand load. My impact will be here the first week of Jan so don’t know how much time i will invest right now. I’ve got the week off and i’ve already shot about 900 rounds in the last 3 days. Happy holiday fellow Tactic owners and All you air gunners out there.
Is there a new stock for the Vulcan Tactic?

I imagine it doable, but it would be significant project. Conceptually, I could see doing it, but it would be a PITA.
I don’t think one could directly put the Bullpup action into a Tactic stock, well at least not without some pretty big mods. Look at the images. Although the barrel clamp spacing is probably the same, the distance from the rear barrel clamp to breach block has been shortened. You’d have to shorten the top barrel cover, cocking rod, and trigger linkage rod. Then, shift the bullpup’s barrel clamps back. Finally, all the linkages would need to re-tuned for proper function.

Vulcan Tactic .25, Temp 84 degrees, Humidity 14%, Baro 26.8, Wind 4-8 knots.
Went out again today, shot at 100 yards, don’t think i will post the video just shows a blurry pellet in flight at 100 yards, Kings shot 5 rounds with pellet striking at 3.75 MILS all within an inch, and 4 striking at 4 MILS all within an inch, and 1 spiraling pellet hitting @ 4.2 MILS. All had the same POA 4th MRAD. Outside conditions 4 Knots of wind, Temp 82 degrees, Humidity 22% and Baro 26.7. Combined 2 inch shot group.
King Heavies MKII with a holdover of 6 MILS, 4 pellets struck at 5.75 MILS all touching easily .50 inch, and 5 pellets struck at 5.5 MILS equaling about an inch. Had 3 spiraling pellets with the MKII, don’t know if i’ve got clipping going on didn’t have time to try it with the shroud off, but my 50 and 75 yards groups looked solid, but i didn’t cam those. Think i will post the video later with some pictures as well. Same shooting conditions.
Love the tactic but it is a little heavy, my next gun will be something small and portable.
IMO the vulcan tactic is one of the best looking rifles out there but the idea of a compact bullpup in 0.25 is very appealing!
Tactic .25 vs Vulcan Bullpup .25 is a certainly difficult pick …which one?
are they the same accuracy wise?
Pellet testing and shot groups at 50 yards, the 100 groups was embarrassing because of the wind so didn’t share them.

Does anyone know what the synthetic Vulcan will look like?
I’m going to want to switch out my wood stock for synthetic if that will be possible.

I really like the style of the stock of the Vulcan Tactical rifle. First, my interest was (and still is) in the Vulcan bullpup. Now this comes out and my attention has been directed to it. And oh boy, the new Vulcan bullpup with a restyled stock is being released as announced at the 2016 IWA. It’s a difficult choice to make because I like light and compact. The Tactical rifle’s stock has the adjustable comb and butt though. 😕 Plus, it’s more aesthetically pleasing than the bullpup, in my opinion.
