LS1 Airforce Laser problem

Lately I thought that my battery needed replacing because the laser beam wouldn’t work when pushing the button on the cord. Does anyone else have this kind of problem with their LS1 lasers?

What is the best way to fix this problem? Is it simple or do I need to get a replacement from Airforce?

I also noticed how some people don’t use a remote wire for their lasers. How does it work? Is it a single button to switch on and off? Is that easy to setup?
