Lube around air tube’s hole … does Cricket leak?
Today, I saw lube around the hole on the air tube (first hole) … Does my Cricket leak? My Cricket Standard .22 is almost new (owned it for a few weeks) …

think about it this way, if there was not supposed to be anything coming out of that hole,
THERE WOULD BE NO HOLE.
… i think there can be a bit air pushing out excess silicon greese, but only during firing cycle/when refilling the plenum.
without the hole the reg woulds stop working.

My Baby Cricket did the same for the first few months.
My .25 Cricket did that for the first few months. Over 20,000 pellets later, with no problems.
I thought it was probably some excess regulator lube seeping out of the vent.
Based on my experience. If it works right and holds air —– I’d say have fun with you new air gun.
Is it normal for Cricket? I don’t know yet because I take it out shooting everyday … I will fill it up and leave it for a few days …
Normal and unlikely it is leaking. Is the pressure dropping over a few days?
