Lubrication

Hi,
I was wondering what lubrication to use, I know silicon is good for Orings, but bad for metal to metal.
I have some Tetra Gun grease (fluoropolymer) which I assume is Teflon/PTFE. Does anyone know for sure?
Should I use it?, does anyone use it?
