Mach3
I finally had to drop the $ to buy Mach3 😥 Never bought PC software before (other than video games) so it was a little painful.
Had been happily living with the 500 line G-Code limit until I finally got around to knuckling down and learning how to use CAM to make stuff like this –
(I’m not paying for the CNC sim software which is why its using a block and not a tube for the material)

I need to tighten the jib’s and set the backlash adjustment, especially on the Z
I bought CamBam with Mach3, I like that I can skip solidworks for most stuff with it.
So what do you think of Lazy CAM , didnt mind it myself when i had alittle try . Im thinking of buying Mach 3 , if you can make use of Lazy CAM its not a bad price for the package.

First thing I thought of was Marble Madness…
I think I tried Doom on my P4 once…. Was cool moving at warp speed until I realized that the demons also moved at warp speed.
That look like DOS game when running on a fast PC, LOL.
