Mad Dog stock for my TD257: The Beginning

While I have the FINISHED stock installed on the gun already, i’m late in getting the post up about my dealings with Doug Russell and where this venture began.




And yes, I need to repaint my bottle. Its an eyesore. But hey, this is a WORKING gun……lol

Yep, there ya go. And his finish looks damned good too

Cedric, the last time I talked to him, he was also using truck bed liner. Rustoleum If i remember right. Doug told me that I could touch up mine with it at anytime. He talks about how he does it on his site.

The stock in the picture is unfinished and a prototype. The actual finished and completed stock is on my gun and is black like on Dougs website. You would have to ask him what finish he uses.

For my bottle, I use truck bed liner

What was your choice of finish and method of application? Are you satisfied with it?
